  The article states he served with the 82nd Airborne during World War II and also led troops in Korea.

The article also states that he lived in River Edge and had graduated from
Hackensack High School. Robert Walter Trost, Jr.'s name was listed on the
Original Veterans Wall Unit at Hackensack High School as "Robert Trost".

So many times we do not know what these men sacrificed, until we read their obituaries.
